AS58- All Star Chisel-DragTM
The All Star is a 6 ft. wide alternative to the best machine on the market - our PR72 Pro Groomer. Customers tell us that they would prefer to have the PR72 machine, but
they may not have the budget. So, in 2002 we set out to design a machine that is as good as anything else on the market, except the PR72.
For breaking up hard infields - the chisel attachment is connected to the frame, then
followed by the broom and drag mat to break up chunks and finish.
For everyday maintenance, the smoothing bar attachment is connected to the frame, then followed by the broom and drag mat.
The AS58 is very versatile, and easy to use. No tools needed to make adjustments.

Smoothing Bar, Broom and Drag Mat -
Using these 3 attachments transforms the All Star into a versatile multi-function maintenance machine. All attachments are carried and pulled behind the All Star, so you'll never have to carry them by hand.
Plus, they all attach and adjust quickly and easily without needing tools. It will grade, maintain and smoothen a wide variety of granular surfaces.
Breaking up hard infields -
To break up hard infields, the chisel attachment is connected to the frame. Then the broom and drag mat attach and follow behind the chisel to break up clumps of dirt and finish the surface.
All-Star Chisel-Drag AS58 features:
1) Adjustable Depth of cut. Means you adjust the depth of the chisel teeth cut only to the depth you need. You won't need to chisel any
deeper than necessary to achieve the intended result of breaking up the top area of the surface. Digging too deep with any implement will result in a surface that is hard to play on.
2) Fine Depth adjustment from 0 to 3 inches.
The All-Star has two ways to adjust depth: 1- the lift arm adjusts depth quickly by using different notches with the locking pin. Fine adjustments can be made by using the turnbuckle. Even when weight needs to be added the
wheels on the All-Star will keep the chisel at a consistent depth, which means you can just break up
the top of a hard infield and still have a consistent playing surface.
3) Wheeled frame means no carrying by hand.
The All-Star's two wheeled frame carries the chisel and optional attachments on and off of the infield.
4) The steel teeth on the All-Star are the most 'abrasion resistant' steel available.
However, that doesn't mean they won't eventually wear out. So, we've designed our 36 cutting teeth to be held in place by just 9 bolts. A set of new teeth can be replaced in approx. 5 minutes.
5) No Tools Needed to Adjust.

Ball Hitch (1-7/8") Coupler PR72 or AS58 machines 85.00
For customers who prefer to use a ball hitch, we've added a 1-7/8" Ball Hitch Coupler as an option for either of our infield grooming
machines.....the PR72 or AS58. The hitch connects to the end of the tongue the same way our standard hitch does. The coupler fits
a 1-7/8" ball.
Tongue Stand (with Caster) PR72 or AS58 machines

Tongue Stand connects behind the hitch, on the tongue. When the machine is unhooked the stand keeps the end of the tongue off of the ground. When the machine is hooked to the towing machine, the tongue folds up
out of the way. When stored inside, on concrete, the caster wheel allows for easy movement of the machine around the storage area. It requires drilling one hole in the tongue .
